Doula Services

A labor doula is a labor support professional that provides care and comfort to the mother and her partner during childbirth. In this role, Vicki solely focuses on the holistic needs of mother and partner, while the medical staff is trained to monitor the medical needs. Vicki is there for YOU!

She can...

  • Help with birthing plans
  • Assist with comfort and relaxation techniques
  • Provide emotional support and explanations of medical procedures
  • Offer post-partum home visits after birth
  • Help to get breastfeeding off to the best possible start

Again, a little help can go a long way. Whether you are in need of childbirth education, support during labor or breastfeeding assistance, Vicki is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide the assistance you need.

In Their Own Words...

“ As a supportive father, I questioned why we needed a Doula, wouldn't I be enough? The process of figuring out what Vicki might do as our Doula put at ease any fears I might have had. Planning our birth with Vicki felt both helpful and natural. Nothing felt forced or awkward. In the end, Vicki's role was integral without being central. Her presence felt like an extension of our own. Vicki enabled us to be more present throughout our own birthing process. To call what Vicki provides a Doula "service' seems too insignificant. Vicki provides a gentle support that magically guides or follows as it is needed. ”
